Hydrex supplies ABP with Terex® FUCHS for ninth time to support short-sea operations

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 11, 2011 – As the official distributor of FUCHS rehandling equipment to the UK and Ireland, Hydrex has today announced that Associated British Ports (ABP) has taken delivery of a brand new FUCHS MHL380 handling machine to support the company's short-sea operations. The machine, purchased for ABP's Port of Teignmouth, marks the ninth FUCHS machine acquired through Hydrex since early 2003 and will be used predominantly for the handling of ball clay and animal feed.

Dave Atkin, ABP Port Manager Teignmouth and Plymouth comments: "ABP's relationship with Hydrex and FUCHS has been growing since we took delivery of our first MHL380. We now have three MHL380s at Teignmouth and have found the machine to be the best match for our short-sea operations due to its 30 rc helicopter market place 0 tonnes per hour handling capability and the wide range of accessories available. This, combined with Hyd manual trash compactor rex's excellent service support, is why we continue to choose FUCHS machinery." The FUCHS MHL380 is mobile, flexible, powerful and, in contrast Kenmore Bisque 15 inchi to stationary cable cranes or gantry cranes, takes minimal time to get to where it is needed. At 67 tonnes and with a 21 metre rea trash bins ch, the powerful hydraulics and the excellent stability permit swift yet precise loading manoeuvres even at higher loads.
